About

Are you looking to make some changes in your life or do you know someone who is? Would you like to get back into shape the way you once were? Maybe you have a goal or two that could be attained if you just had a little help. Aroostook County Fitness and KPx3 can help with that.

Currently, I am a Doctoral Candidate in Health and Human Performance and the owner of both Aroostook County Fitness, an open-to-the-public gym and personal training studio, and KPx3 which specializes in creating custom workout programs.

I have my Masters’s degree in exercise science with a concentration in Human Movement and additional certification from the Brent Brookbush Institute as a human movement specialist.

My Certifications are Personal Training, human movement specialist, corrective exercise specialist, Sports Nutrition, Sports Specific Instructor, Strength and Conditioning Instructor, Functional Fitness Instructor, Speed and Agility Instructor, and CPR/AED Practitioner.

I am also a Professional BodyBuilder with the OCB which is a natural bodybuilding organization.

Here I have designed workouts for a variety of people and goals in mind from the beginner to the advanced competitor and all different levels in between.

I also custom design programs for clients based on their goals, abilities, likes, and dislikes. There are many different exercises that we can select for your program so you do not have to push through an exercise that you do not like. I will work with you in the gym as we design the program that best fits you.

I do not believe in pushing through the pain! If it hurts then stop, your body is letting you know there is a problem and it will not get better by ignoring it. There are other exercises that will hit the targeted muscles without having to suffer through that “no pain, no gain” nightmare.

I also do not live in the gym! I won first place at the OCB Pine Tree State competition and earned a Professional Bodybuilders card by doing the very same programs I am offering you. These programs, depending on the level you want will range from about 2 to 4 hours of total gym time per week. The workouts are either 2 or 3 days per week and they range from 45 minutes to an hour and a half per workout.

I personally put in about 4 hours a week in the gym and I compete at the professional level…so living in the gym is not necessary, after all, your time is too valuable for that.

The exercises chosen and the workouts designed are well researched and science-based to optimize your time and maximize your results. Periodization, progressive overload, proper form, and proper range of motion combine in these programs and if followed (with a proper diet) you will be amazed at the results.

Best Regards and good luck in achieving your goals,

Steve Plummer
